I am a journalist turned elementary librarian turned English as a Second Language teacher. I have often said: once a reporter, always a reporter; once a librarian, always a librarian; once a teacher, well, you get it. I am truly the sum of all my professional parts as I take a nugget of each experience with me to the next adventure.
I am the wife of a police officer, the mother of two perfect (and perfectly different) young ladies, sister of the best sister ever, daughter of the parents everyone wants as their own, and niece to a twin of my fantastic mother. And yes, I mean an actual identical twin. In essence, I am simply a very lucky woman.
